Family Owned and Operated Since 1927
McKnights Emergency Wrecker Service (EWS) began in 1927 founded as a small town, Texaco Station and vehicle repair shop by Thomas (Toots) and Dollie Mae McKnight. Their son, Jim, began work at the Texaco station at age 12. Their first “tow truck” was a Farmall tractor.
McKnights EWS has been blessed with exceptionally capable and intelligent people who have worked side by side with us to help achieve our goal of delivering excellent customer service. This incredible work ethic combined with a commitment to serving our customers is the philosophy that we all share at McKnights EWS. This philosophy was simply put by the founder, Toots McKnight when he taught us all to “Treat customers the way that you would want to be treated.”
